A Few Finishes

I have been on a finishing roll lately & wanted to share three of my most recent finishes!
Two of them are patterns I tested for other designers - and both have been released so there is a link to each pattern if you're so inspired you need a copy, too :)

First up is "Golden Lattice" by Bess of Side Lake Stitch.

This was a fun one to put together - and, bonus, I only bought the backing fabric!

Yup! My solid stash is OUT of control!
I did add those little four patches in, since I didn't have quite enough for the bigger blocks.... but it gives it a little more pizazz.

(this quilt is available for purchase)

I also tested the "Urban Light" pattern for Karen of Blooming Poppies last month!

This one went off for fancy quilting & it turned out pretty sweet.

For both of these I started with the backing & then decided what colour scheme to go with from there.

I had the backing in my stash already & pulled greys that I thought might match it, then threw in black & white for good measure.
Dark backgrounds are so good.

The third finish is my Beary Scrappy throw!

This one is 100% scrap - even the batting!  I love to put a scrappy backing on my scrap quilts.... it feels like I'm using up even more & it is a sweet surprise to boot.

There are so many different yellows & low volumes in this one, I love to look & see what new thing I can find in each glance.

(this one is also available for purchase)
