Designer Spotlight - Broadcloth Studio

Today we're talking patterns from Broadcloth Studio

Amanda designers modern blocks and has a plethora to choose from.
There are occasionally free patterns thrown in her shop & also plenty of tutorials in her blog!

She is currently hosting a challenge over on Instagram called #30DaysOfImprov (and I am totally, absolutely caught up & not still on day 6 😉)

I know we talked about Improv a bit a few weeks ago, but it seriously a great way to use up scraps of any size!
Each week has had a different focus - squares, strips, curves, etc
She sends out a weekly email with tips & posts videos on her page every day!

"Sonnets" is also an improv quilt - but a guided one.
{Click any image from here on out to be taken straight to the pattern!}

"Quilt Buzz Bingo" was a fun QAL hosted both last & this year - I have made three so far

"Feature Frames" is such a sweet looking pattern.  Amanda made this one with extra negative space, but the full pattern has 25 blocks

I also made her "Behemoth Block" pattern nine times, rotated it & turned it into a large throw.... all scraps!

This one is just mind blowing to me - "Bar Charts"

I hope Amanda's patterns inspire you!
There are plenty more on her site & even more on her Instagram.

As always, if you make something with scraps this month, please share it with the hashtag #hsScrapSewAlong!
