Fallen Leaves Quilt Pattern!

I am so excited to announce that my Fallen Leaves paper pieced quilt pattern is now available for purchase!

This project has was started June 2021 and I finally got my courage up to release it.
I love paper piecing but have not written a full pattern using it (until now) so I needed a big push from some friends to finish this one up.  Mostly because they wanted it for themselves I think, but it is nice to have a group of people behind you cheering you on!

Fallen Leaves uses Foundation Paper Piecing to form leaves, with a few negative spaces included to add interest.

This year I went on a walk with my son & we snagged some pretty colour leaves.  I tried to base my blocks off of them and think I did a mostly decent job.

For this cover quilt (baby size) I used all Kona cotton.
Mediterranean for the background and a bunch of scraps for the rest.
I experimented with different ways to make the leaves ombre (I worked in colour batches, so all the orange are done with 4 fabrics, red is all scraps, brown is 6 fabrics, yellow is 7, green is 8.)

I am really pleased with how this one came out - and I have some very sweet friends who have made some magnificent leaves as well!
