Love Entwined Pattern!
Introducing the beautiful new Love Entwined pattern! This stunning design features interlocking hearts made from traditional pieced blocks that create a romantic and elegant quilt perfect for any special occasion.
This pattern contains 12 pages of full colour diagrams, written instructions, an optional pieced border with a hidden message, and colouring pages!
Included are full directions for three different sizes and cutting for single blocks - this makes the math easier for both scraps and if a different size is needed (below)
It has been edited by Kacey Crutchfield.
The optional accent border is pieced using left over fabric from the hearts.
It spells out "I Love You" in morse code and I decided to add it after staring at the top I made for my son - it felt incomplete with only one border so I decided if I was going to add more I might as well be extra with it.
You can also skip the piecing and just keep the accent border one fabric!

The version above uses directional prints so I could make sure the cutting instructions would work for any fabric. I left off the accent & outer border, keeping the quilt small.
This one I cut all from solid scraps. I designed it to have the lighter fabric on the right for the smaller hearts and on the left for the larger. It uses four different purples for the hearts with another for the accent border.
This one took some extra math (and with a suggestion from a friend) I split up the border to have "I Love" on one side and "You" wrapping up another.
If you've been here a while you'll know I adore rainbow gradients and especially when they're on the diagonal.
I finished this up last night and need to toss it in the wash! No full photos yet, but keep an eye on my feed for it soon -
This solid one was actually the first I made, when I only had measurements for a single block figured out and nothing typed yet. I wanted to make sure it would look the same in fabric as it did on graph paper.
This was before the accent border and 'official' sizes, so it is a little larger than the baby size - suitable for a small throw or a one person couch quilt!
Each solid was picked to match a bit of the fabric on the back.
This version above is Bean's. The blue heart is for him and has both our favorite blues. The orange is my heart and has both of our favorite shades as well.
I used the orange scraps for the "I", the red from the hearts for "love", and the blue from his half of his block for the "you".
