May Donations & June Pattern Announcement!

Hello everyone!  I am so happy with what we've accomplished together this month - with the Beary Scrappy pattern sales I have donated $200 exactly to Direct Relief!

The money from the pattern sales is going strictly to help with the Covid crisis in India.

I pick a different organization to donate to every month, and for June all sales from my Hurricane Chain pattern will go to Project HOPE.

"We work on the front lines of the world’s most urgent health challenges, partnering with communities, health care workers, and public health systems to ensure sustainable change."

They are also working on getting vaccines, ventilators, and oxygen to India & Nepal.  Since the surges there are so bad, I will focus on that area again this month.

If you've already purchased a copy of Hurricane Chain, please spread the word or consider donating directly to Project HOPE.  Every little bit adds up & helps!

Some notes on the pattern -

Hurricane Chain was written with scraps in mind, but also will work for Charm Squares & mini charms!

I even made one version with fat quarters & had a tester make one with all yardage.

This one is mostly scraps, with a few rouge charm squares thrown in for fun

This is the fat quarter version, made for a friend who loves neutrals & earth tones.

And here is a yardage version!

As you can see, just tweaking the amount of fabrics used drastically changes the look of the quilt.

  • This is so sweet of you. I love this pattern and I love your generous heart. It’s so nice that you are sharing receipts as well! So many people say they’re doing things and then don’t these days.
