New Pattern - Beary Scrappy!

This one took some twists & turns & went through four (or five?) major revisions before I finally decided it was best suited as a "Choose Your Own Adventure" pattern.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to use small or large scraps.  Or both?  And there are so many ways to make Half Square Triangles (HST) that I couldn't just choose one.  After all, I have so many different size scraps and the less cutting some days, the better!

Beary Scrappy has full directions for making this quilt two different ways: Small Scraps (utilizes 1 1/2" - 3 1/2" squares) and Large Scraps (3 1/2" - 7" squares!)
There are also tips for changing the block ever so slightly if you have more scraps of a different size.
And there's a little section at the end with ideas to further change the pattern!

I love seeing how much patterns change with just the slightest variation.  It's fascinating!

I had loads of help from testers this time around, who put up with me changing it (however drastically) too many times.

Angie used orange blossom, Smol prints & added an extra border to the baby size!

Lani used big scraps & small sashing.

Robin added skinny sashing, too. I think these look like sunflowers against a blue sky 😍

My cover version uses low volume & yellow in both the Large & Small directions.

I also made one with all Large Scraps & added a small sashing between each block.

Kat used a rainbow of small scraps & I cannot get enough of it!!

Maggie's blue/green background is darling & such a fun change!

Laura's lovely green has skinny sashing as well.  How fun are those cute little shoofly corners?!

April added fat sashing & cornerstones and skipped the borders! What a change it makes.

I can't wait to see what you make with this!!
