September Stats!
Another month is gone & I at least stepped foot into my sewing room this time!
I thought I'd start including my monthly stats here (but you can check out old stats where I typically posted them).
You can snag your own copy of this checklist by clicking here
September Stats:
Quilts Started - 3
Tops Made - 2
Quilts Quilted - 2
Bound & Photographed - 1
Total finishes for the year: 24
Patterns Released - 0
Donations Made - $32
Every month I donate a portion of my pattern sales to a different organization. I chose the American Childhood Cancer Organization because September is Child Cancer Awareness Month.
The piece of my long arm finally arrived! It broke at the end of July & I ordered a part on Aug 2nd. It's fixed, it's functioning, and knock on wood it stays that way!
The main thing I worked on was the commissioned quilt that's been at my house for a year now. It's finished & there's a pick up date scheduled. Hooray!
I can't show off too much of what I did since it is a memory quilt.
Other projects started are my newest pattern, Fallen Leaves
I'm making this one out of solid scraps and trying different ways of making it ombre-ish until I find one I like a lot. Then I'll add some notes about placement to the pattern.
I pieced all my hourglass blocks together!
I swapped enough to make a 70 x 80 quilt and will back it with a low volume wide back when I get around to loading it on the long arm.
I started a Hundred Acre Scrap quilt using Camellia & Spark, both by Ruby Star Society. I think it'll make a lovely fall quilt.
Happy sewing!
