the Paw Paw pattern is here!

The Paw Paw Quilt pattern is now available!
I'm so excited for this one & cannot wait to see what you all make with it.

This one has a fun story - scroll down a paragraph or two if you have no interest in the back story 😉
My son had swimming lessons for the first time this summer & asked after the first week if I could make "his lifeguard" a quilt for helping him.
We doodled a design (Isosceles) and once it was made, shortly after week 2, Asheron decided it wasn't cool enough for his lifeguard and we needed a new one.

So I drew up another design and put the final touches on it while he was watching "The Jungle Book".  Naturally, the Bare Necessities got stuck in my head and that is how this giant bear paw block got it's name.

Hunter the Lifeguard's quilt is made from six different red solids & white yardage for the background.

The blocks are large, giving this one generous sizes that come together quickly!
Smallest finished size (shown in scraps above) is 49" square.

The throw (shown above in yardage) is 71" square

The pattern also includes directions for a pillow 27", and a queen top 93" (shown mocked up in solids above).

This one is great for feature prints because it uses large cuts and makes big blocks.

I have one more planned in all ombre.  It will either be so lovely or a complete disaster, but I'm here for it!!

If you're not subscribed to my newsletter, I highly suggest you do.  You'll be the first to hear of patterns - plus I send out coupon codes & behind the scenes pics there!!
